Our small village school was built in 1878 and currently caters for children from Reception to Year 4 (aged four to nine). We are growing year on year to become an all through primary school. There are currently three bright and stimulating classrooms all well equipped with computers and interactive whiteboards. We have a hall which is used for assemblies, physical education, concerts and other social events and a large, dedicated library.
Plans for the future include a new hall and kitchen area, computing room and an additional classroom.
We have a large playground at the front of the building and a beautiful, spacious playing field at the back of the school which includes stimulating apparatus and a wild nature area which is used to deliver Forest School activities. In addition, the school has a large allotment area with raised beds and composting facilities.
We encourage you to pay a visit to the 'Gallery' to see the exciting art work the children have produced throughout the year. It is a huge strength of the school and something we feel passionately about.
